Demo against occupation of land

MIRPURKHAS, June 10. Over 300 residents of village Malhi, deh 291 taluka Kot Ghulam Mohammad, staged demonstrations outside the press club, DIG and DCO offices against illegal occupation of their lands by an influential person here on Saturday.

Led by Peromal, Shambomal, Mirchomal and Kalcharam, protesters demanded possession of their land.

Later, speaking at a press conference, Peromal, Shambomal, Mirchomal and Kalcharam lamented that their relatives Patel Dahromal had forced their mother Ms Hansi to sell their four acres of land to a man, Shaukat Khan, whereas land matter had been in litigation and pending in different courts.
