ISLAMABAD, June 8: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Thursday announced its candidates for 35 out of 41 constituencies for the upcoming general elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The names of the candidates were announced by PPP secretary general Jahangir Badar at a news conference at the party’s central secretariat. PPP MNA Naheed Khan was also present.

Mr Badar said the party had entered into an alliance with the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Party and made seat adjustments with the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal in six constituencies.
