GUJRAT: The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan, retired Rear Admiral Fred Senaviratne has invited Pakistani businessmen to explore Sri Lankan markets and benefit from the opportunities through the facilities provided there.

He highlighted major investment opportunities in manufacturing, IT, tourism, agriculture, construction, and real estate. Deputy Head of Mission Mr Christy Roben also accompanied the envoy.

Gujrat Chamber head Ahmed Hassan welcomed the high commissioner.

CHINESE: A Chinese business delegation visited Gujrat on Saturday to review industrial potential of the fan and furniture sectors.

They were given a comprehensive briefing on modern manufacturing processes, product quality standards, and the export footprint of Gujrat’s industry.

Later, a detailed meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office where the delegation met DC Noorulain Qureshi and other officials of the district administration.

“The Chinese expressed their commitment to sign an agreement between Gujrat and Loudi, aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and industrial linkages,” says an official statement.
