14 held for trying to cross into Iran illegally: FIA
GWADAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 14 people for attempting to illegally travel to Iran.
According to an FIA spokesperson, an operation was conducted by the FIA Composite Circle Gwadar in Jiwani and apprehended 14 people who were trying to reach Iran via sea route through illegal means.
Among the arrested individuals, four belong to Gujranwala, two to Faisalabad, five to Lower Dir, and three to Swabi, Mardan, and Malakand.
Initial investigation revealed that the arrested suspects intended to travel illegally onwards to other countries.
A case has been registered against the suspects.
