RAWALPINDI: A woman was killed in a road traffic accident while a man allegedly committed suicide on Sunday.

Moreover, two labourers were shifted to hospital with injuries they sustained during a fire that erupted in a feed mill in Rawat.

The traffic accident occurred near Mandra toll plaza when a car overturned due to speeding. Rescue 1122 staff reached the spot, pulled out the injured trapped in the car and shifted them to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

The deceased was identified as Samna Bibi, 27, and the injured as Arslan Naeem, 25.

Meanwhile, Rescue 1122 said a 42-year-old man was found dead in his house at Allahabad on Sunday. The emergency services said the man was alone when he allegedly committed suicide.

Two persons with burn injuries were shifted to Holy Family Hospital. They suffered the burn injuries in a fire that broke out due to explosion in a boiler in a feed mill near Rawat. The injured were identified as Saddam Gul, 15, and Abdul Raheem, 22.
