No shifting of LMC offices

LARKANA, Feb 7: After long deliberations between the LMC employees union and the LMC management, the Taluka Nazim, Larkana, has reversed his earlier decision of shifting the Larkana Municipal Corporation offices to another site.

Rasool Bakhsh Shahani, representing the employees union, held talks with the Zila Nazim Khursheed Junejo, Taluka Nazim Nazir Shaikh, where Nisar Khuhro, president of the Sindh PPP, playing a key role decided that the LMC office would not be shifted to Sachal Sarmast Colony.

The Taluka Nazim had earlier not only decided to shift the office but had also got a resolution passed from the taluka council regarding it.

The Taluka Nazim said that the employees would get their salaries for the last month and also their uniform allowance.

BHANG: The police destroyed Bhang crops cultivated on four acres of land in the jurisdiction of the Mahota police station on Wednesday.

The police was informed that a man, Mureed Hussain Jatoi, had been cultivating and selling Bhang in the Gohram Jatoi village.
