HYDERABAD, Feb 7: A large number of people from Jamshoro colony, Wapda colony and other areas staged a protest demonstration and token hunger strike in Jamshoro against the non-employment of local youths by a pharmaceutical company of the area.

Speaking at the rally, the Naib Nazim of Jamshoro union council Lala Rehman Pathan, Hakim Chandio, Sachal Chandio and others warned that the protest demonstrations would continue unless the local people were recruited by the company administration.

DATE EXTENDED: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, has extended the date for the receipt of enrolment forms for PTC, CT, CT Agrotech, Arts Teachers Course, Arts Masters Course, Oriental Teachers Course and Diploma in Education.

The candidates can now deposit their enrolment forms by Feb 15, with a late fee of Rs100.
