PESHAWAR, May 30: A committee has been constituted under the director-general health services to solve problems of specialists in district hospitals regarding implementation of the three-tier service formula.

This was decided in a meeting held under NWFP Health Minister Inayatullah Khan. The meeting also decided to approach the finance department to discuss a plan for approving the formula.

The minister said that the government was committed to solve problems faced doctors and other healthcare staff, adding that the approval of a service structure for paramedical staff was proof of its commitment.

He assured district-level doctors about solving their problems and directed them to serve patients with devotion.
