Arbab-MQM agreement criticised

KHAIRPUR, May 29: Pakistan People’s Party’s MPA Nawab Khan Wassan has criticised the agreement between the chief minister and Muttahida Qaumi Movement, which, he said, ran counter to the interests of the province and thousands of jobless youths.

Mr Wassan told newsmen on Monday that the chief minister and his coalition partners had earlier been issuing statements that all jobs would be provided on merit but now they were being given on quota basis, 40 per cent to the MQM and the rest to other coalition partners.
