Medical charity Doctors Without Borders, also known by its French acronym MSF, says it has been forced to suspend its work in Gaza City because of the ongoing Israeli offensive there, AFP reports.

“The intense Israeli forces’ offensive in Gaza City, Palestine, is putting our staff and patients at risk,” said MSF. “The unacceptable level of risk has led us to reluctantly decide to suspend our lifesaving activities in Gaza City.“
