12 nazims disqualified

QUETTA, May 27: The Musakhel district election tribunal in Loralai led by Liaquat Ali Khoso has disqualified 12 union council nazims and naib nazims, including district nazim of Zhob in the light of a Supreme Court judgement according to which Sanads of Madaris were not equivalent to secondary school certificates.

The tribunal announced its decision on Saturday and the affected nazims belonged to the Muttihada Majlis-i-Amal.

The tribunal declared runner-up candidates successful.
