Four die of heatstroke

SAHIWAL, May 26: Four people died of heatstroke in different parts of the district on Thursday night. Reports said that Islam of Kot Farid Khan fell unconscious. He was shifted to the local DHQ Hospital where he died.

Similarly, Muhammad Nawaz of Harappa, Ali Nawaz of Chak 94/6-R and Rasoolan of Chichawatni were also rushed to the DHQ Hospital, but they could not survive as well.

Meanwhile, the Met office recorded a temperature of 44 degree Celsius in Sahiwal on Friday.
