Ibad leaves for London

KARACHI, May 24: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad left here for London on Wednesday night. The governor was reported to have gone on a private visit for a week with his family. During his stay in London, he will also call on Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain.

However, political analysts have termed the visit an important development in view of the tussle in Sindh between Chief Minister Dr Arbab Rahim and the MQM.

Sources said the party chief had summoned the governor to work out ways of resolving the crisis .
