Israel targeted Hamas’ armed wing spokesperson Abu Ubaida in a joint operation carried out by the military and the Shin Bet domestic intelligence service, Reuters reports quoting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“We still don’t know the final result. I hope he is no longer with us,” Netanyahu said during a government meeting.
