ISLAMABAD, May 24: Leaders of the People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) will take other component parties of the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) on the Charter of Democracy in a meeting here on Thursday.

A source in the ARD told Dawn that besides the Charter of Democracy, the prevailing political situation in the country would also be discussed in the meeting.

The source said that the ARD leaders would also finalize the future strategy in case Gen Pervez Musharraf tried to get himself re-elected for another term from the present assemblies.— Staff Reporter
