Ravi at Balloki and Sutlej at Ganda Singh Wala continue to face “exceptionally high” floods, with rising flows in the former and a falling trend in the latter.

According to the Flood Forecasting Division’s data updated at 1pm, the water outflows at Balloki were recorded at around 216,000 cusecs, while those at Ganda Singh Wala were over 260,000 cusecs.

Sulemanki Headworks on Sutlej River and Shahdara on Ravi were in “high” floods, while Chenab River was witnessing a “medium” flood.
