PESHAWAR, May 24: NWFP PML-N information secretary Arshad Qureshi has said a ‘final round’ against the government will be launched after ratification of the Charter of Democracy by Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto on July 2 in London.

Talking to journalists at the press club here on Wednesday, he said a decisive movement against the rulers would establish the supremacy of democracy and law and would end disharmony and uncertainty in the county. He said they had started preparations in this regard.

He said the Charter of Democracy had perturbed the rulers and they were raising the issue of the charter at every forum.

He said the provincial president of the party, Pir Sabir Shah, and other leaders were holding workers’ conventions at district level to mobilise the masses for the movement against the military rulers.

He said participation of a large number of people in the conventions had proved the masses were fed up with the government and wanted to get rid of it.
