KARACHI, May 24: The management of Habib Bank, referring to a picture carried in the Metropolitan pages of Dawn’s May 19 issue with the caption suggesting that “the bank may have failed to comply with the orders of the Supreme Court with respect to the provision of adequate shelter and water to payers of utility bills”, has stated that “it has the highest respect for the Supreme Court, and cannot violate its order under any circumstances.”

A statement issued here on Wednesday said that the bank was fully committed to strict implementation of all directives of the Supreme Court in this respect.
