Reuters news agency, in a post on X, has also confirmed that one of the four journalists killed in the attack was contracted by the news agency, Al Jazeera reports.
“One of the journalists killed in the strikes was cameraman Hussam al-Masri, according to the officials,” the post said. “He was a contractor for Reuters. Photographer Hatem Khaled, who was also a Reuters contractor, was wounded, the officials said.”
