LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Saturday extended the physical remand of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, for another five days in a case related to promoting gambling apps on social media.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo announced the decision of extending the remand of the YouTuber.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) produced Rehman before the court on completion of his four-day physical remand. The investigating officer sought further physical remand of the suspect for interrogation.

The magistrate allowed the remand for five days and directed the agency to produce the suspect again on Aug 28.

The agency alleged that the suspect was a member of an international gambling racket and had been promoting gambling applications on social media for huge money.

Aroob Jatoi, the wife of the YouTuber, is on interim bail till Aug 30.
