ARD meets on 25th

LAHORE, May 22: An emergency meeting of the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) has been called for May 25 in Islamabad. The meeting will be held at the PPP Secretariat, says ARD leader Syed Manzoor Ali Gilani.

ARD chairman Amin Fahim will brief the participants on the Charter of Democracy signed by former prime ministers Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif.

Strategy for the next elections and the general political situation in the country will also come under discussion. —Staff Reporter
