The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has warned that children in Gaza have already lost two school years to the conflict and are about to lose a third.
“Instead of learning, children spend their time searching for water and food,” UNRWA said in a post on X.
It urgently called for a ceasefire “so they can go back to learning and reconnect with whatever is left of their childhood”.
