Israel is concentrating fire on the Zeitoun neighbourhood in Gaza City. Air strikes, drones, and artillery are destroying the terrain before a stated push to control the city, Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reports.
“For civilians on the ground here, in Gaza City in particular, Israel is still launching high-intensity bombardment inside dense [residential] blocks and diminishing what’s left of healthcare and access to food,” the report said.
Azzoum added that according to eyewitnesses in that area, the Israeli operations left behind an “ocean of debris”.
