The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) has urging the US government to reverse its “dangerous and inhumane decision” to “halt all visas from Gaza, including for children in desperate need of critical medical attention”, Al Jazeera reports.

The PCRF said the recently announced decision would have a “devastating and irreversible impact on our ability to bring injured and critically ill children from Gaza to the US for lifesaving medical treatment”.

It added that most children receiving medical treatment outside Gaza go to neighbouring countries, including Egypt and Jordan, and that only a limited number of children needing specialty treatment come to the US.
