Police officials said that Badin police station’s SHO Inspector Ghulam Mustafa Aqeelani, along with ASI Liaquat Ali Dilwani, set up a checkpoint near Badin–Karachi bypass after receiving a tip-off about the truck.

The SHO said that police signaled the 10-wheeler truck (No.TAT-192) coming from Balochistan to stop and found during its search a large quantity of betel nut powder packed in 142 cement bags, each weighing 2,556 kilograms, and 1,100 packets of gutka.
