LAHORE: Ceasar, one of the top-rated colts owned by Khwaja Mohammad Atif, won the Independence Day Cup in style during a day/night race meeting here at the Racecourse on Sunday.

The three-year-old Ceasar was ridden by Shahbaz and trained by Rashid Latif.

Earlier, Babar Rehman steered bay clot Flash, owned by Aqeel Nasir, to the Jashn-e-Azadi Cup while Safdar Ali rode Nasir Khan-owned bay filly Victory Bulbul to Kashmir Cup glory.
