QUETTA: A sessions court on Monday rejected the bail application of tribal elder Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai who was arrested along with other accused in the Degari honour killing case in which a man and a woman were killed over two months ago.

However, the court of Session Judge Quetta, headed by Shahid Javed, granted bail to Gul Bibi, the mother of honour killing victim Bano Bibi, who was shot dead along with a man, Ehsan Samalani, by her younger brother on the orders of a local elders’ council. Gul Bibi was arrested after she described killing of her daughter as right decision.
