KARACHI: Residents of Defence Housing Authority and some other areas will face a 24-hour gas shutdown on Monday (today).

The Sui Southern Gas Company announced that work to reroute a 24-inch diameter pipeline had begun on Sunday night and it was likely to be completed on Monday evening.

“Gas supply will remain suspended in all DHA phases, Clifton Blocks 3, 5 and 6, Defence View, Akhtar Colony, Azam Basti and Qayyumabad until 10pm Monday,” the utility said.
