Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has commended US President Donald Trump for brokering a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, hoping for Trump’s intervention to bring lasting peace in Gaza.
“It is hoped that President Trump will play a similar historic role in achieving peace and a two-state solution for Palestine. The innocent Palestinians targeted in Gaza also look forward to President Trump’s intervention for lasting peace,” he wrote on X.
“Humanity awaits an end to Zionist atrocities and Palestinian genocide. History will remember him forever.”
