QUETTA: Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed unwavering commitment to equal development of all 36 districts and youth empowerment during a series of meetings with public delegations and local notables at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Friday.
Engaging with visitors, CM Bugti listened attentively to their problems, suggestions, and demands.
He issued immediate directives to relevant departments, ensuring swift resolution of several pressing issues.
“No issue faced by the people of any district, tehsil, or village in Balochistan will go unnoticed,” said CM Bugti.
“We are working at every level to resolve public problems and ensure that every citizen receives their rightful share.”
The chief minister emphasised that the government’s mission goes beyond administrative reforms; it aims to bring meaningful, positive change to the lives of the people of the province.
“The doors of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat are always open to the public,” he said.
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, in a separate meeting with the parliamentary secretary for minority affairs Sanjay Kumar and Head of Welfare Organisation Peter Arshad, said that the provincial government is committed to protecting the rights of minorities and providing equal opportunities for them.
Issues related to religious harmony, welfare of minorities and promotion of interfaith unity in the province were discussed during the meeting.
Sanjay Kumar and Peter Arshad provided the chief minister with details about the proposed programmes to be organised in the province on the occasion of Minority Day and invited the chief minister to participate in these events as special guest.
Mr Bugti said in the meeting that all minorities living in Balochistan play a significant role in the province’s development process and social harmony.
He said that the Minority Day celebrations would not only send a message of solidarity but would also be a practical demonstration of promoting tolerance and brotherhood in the province.
