NAROWAL: Rescue 1122 caught a cobra snake from the house of a citizen at Dudhu Chak village of Shakargarh tehsil on Thursday.

Narowal District Emergency Officer Engineer Muhammad Aurangzeb told Dawn the control room received a phone call.

According to the caller, the cobra had infiltrated the house of Muhammad Ehsan. As soon as the phone call was received, the rescue team from Shakargarh reached the house. Four foot long snake that had entered the parrot cage was caught.

The rescue officer said the rescue team released the cobra into the jungle.
