QUETTA: Two people were killed and six others sustained injuries in a road accident on the RCD Highway near Noli area of Chagai district.

According to details, the accident occurred when a truck and a car collided head-on, resulting in the death of two persons at the scene.

The injured were rushed to Prince Fahd Hospital in Dalbandin, where they were provided emergency medical care.

The hospital’s medical superintendent, Dr Loong Khan Essa Zai, confirmed that some of the injured, including children, were in serious condition while others were out of danger.

He added that the best possible medical treatment was being provided to all the injured.

Meanwhile, the local administration has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
