QUETTA, May 17: Former federal minister and PML leader Mir Haji Khan Tareen has suggested to the government to form a committee comprising tribal elders, intellectuals and other personalities for resolving the Balochistan issue that was becoming more complex with the passage of time.

Speaking at a press conference here, he expressed deep concern over the deteriorating law and order, political, tribal and economic situation in the province and said that the government should immediately take steps in this regard.

He said that the government should take serious notice of the situation and without wasting time set up a committee and empower it for resolving the issue of Balochistan through negotiations according to tribal traditions.—Correspondent
