Spanish Defence Minister Margarita Robles says 13 sick children and their families from Gaza will be flown from Jordan to Spain for medical care, Al Jazeera reports.
Robles said an A400 military transport aircraft is being fitted with medical equipment and is scheduled to depart later today for Amman.
“The situation in Gaza is absolutely terrible. The level of cruelty shown by [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu is absolutely unacceptable, and I believe the international community must respond,” Robles said.
