MIANWALI: A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot has lodged a case with Mianwali Saddar police against a woman, accusing her of blackmailing him after he allegedly refused to marry her.

The pilot posted at M M Alam PAF Mianwali Airbase, got registered an FIR (Dawn has copy of the FIR) No 232/25 under sections 419, 420, 500, 506, 211 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and 25-D of the Telegraph Act 1985 against the woman ‘A’, a resident of Chah Hameedwala, Gadai Shumali, Dera Ghazi Khan tehsil.

The complainant stated that while being posted at Mianwali base, he had a contact on social media with a woman, who introduced herself as Ms Rafia of Multan.

He stated that during subsequent social media interactions with her, the woman claimed to be leading a miserable life and expressed a desire to marry him.

The pilot said that the woman invited him to Mutan, where he later met her on April 24, 2025. However, he said that during their first meeting, it transpired that the woman’s actual name was ‘A’ and she was running a fake account on social media.

The complainant stated that the woman’s conduct made him suspicious of her, and he stopped contacting her. He said that after his refusal, ‘A’ made repeated calls on his phone and threatened him of dire consequences if he refused to marry her. He alleged that the woman also threatened to implicate him in a “fabricated” rape case.

He said that he came to know that ‘A’ was a hardcore blackmailer and she had already got registered a “fake” rape case No30/21 under section 376 of the PPC at the Women Police station, Multan, in 2021 against a man.

He requested the police to act against the woman and save him from the blackmail.
