ISLAMABAD: Over 300 patients affected by rain received free medical treatment on Tuesdayfor waterborne illnesses, respiratory infections, and other post-flood medical conditions.

The camp was held at Fauji Colony Rawalpindi to support individuals affected by the recent monsoon rains and flooding. It was organised by Shifa International Hospital Islamabad.

A team of experienced specialists from paediatrics, internal medicine and emergency medicine provided health services at the camp. Over 320 patients received health assessment, medical check-ups, expert consultations, and essential medicines at no cost.

The initiative aimed to deliver immediate and accessible healthcare to vulnerable populations impacted by the torrential rains.

“Hospital remains steadfast in its commitment to serving humanity and promoting community welfare,” said a hospital spokesperson.

“Through such initiatives, we not only address the immediate health needs of affected communities but also strive to restore hope and resilience in challenging times. We are ready to respond to the needs of the community during emergencies and crises,” he said.
