LAHORE: A sessions court on Wednesday issued a notice to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on a petition seeking registration of a blasphemy case against ‘controversial’ YouTuber

A citizen, Shahzada Adnan, filed the petition through his counsel accusing Rajab Butt of using inappropriate language on a religious matter in a social media video.

The petitioner’s counsel informed the court that his client had earlier approached the NCCIA, but no case was registered. He asked the court to order the NCCIA to file a case against the YouTuber.
