Pakistan in U-16 Asian volleyball quarters

LAHORE: Pakistan in an impressive performance defeated Saudi Arabia 3-0 to cruise into the quarter-finals of the U-16 Asian Volleyball Championship in Nakhon Phanom, Thailand on Sunday.

According to the results released by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Pakistan outplayed Saudi Arabia 25-14, 25-13, 25-12 in a pool ‘C’ match. Juniad, Wahab, Faizan and Irfan fared well for Pakistan.

Pakistan, who won their tournament opener against South Korea, in their last pool match face Chinese Taipei on Monday.
