QUETTA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday arrested three men in the provincial capital for their alleged involvement in human trafficking.

The suspects, identified as Hamdullah alias Kashmir, Gul Zaman and Muhammad Aslam, were arrested by the anti-human trafficking circle personnel, a spokesperson for FIA said. He said the FIA seized three mobile phones and a notepad from their possession.

On the other hand, in a joint operation near shores of Gadani coast, the Maritime Security Agency, Pakistan Navy, and excise and anti-narcotics personnel foiled an attempt of liquor smuggling.

Over 10,000 foreign and local brand bottles of liquor, worth Rs350 million in the international market, were seized.
