HARIPUR: Federal minister Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has said that all the coalition partners of the sitting government were on the same page with the military leadership and Pakistan’s historic victory for against arch rival India, on both war and diplomatic fronts, was its proof .

He expressed these views while speaking to the participants of a ceremony that former caretaker provincial minister Ejaz Ali Khan Durani had organised at DuraniWelfare Hospital under the banner of defence council of Pakistan here on Saturday evening.

Former MNA Dr Raja Amir Zaman, former ministers Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti, Qazi Muhammad Asad Khan,former MPA Shazia Jadoon, former MPA Gohar Nawaz Khan, Brig. Retired Shehzad Khan, workers of PPP, PMLN, and JUI-F were in attendance.

The federal minister lauded the professional acumen of the military and its leadership, especially the COAS during the recent war against India and said that the Pakistani nation was lucky that it had a soldier like Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir leading the military.

About Hazara province’s demand the federal minister said, “The people of Hazara would listen the good news very soon as the time has come to honor the promise of Hazara province”, he added.

Earlier, the workers of PPP took out a rally from Central Jail Chowk to Durrani Welfare Hospital. The participants chanted slogans and carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of Pakistan Army and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
