KARACHI: The Pakis­tan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) on Friday announced team for the IBSF World Under 17, Under-21 men, masters and 6-Red men Snooker Championship, scheduled from July 13th to 24th in Manama, Bahrain.

Competing in the Mas­ters and 6-Red Men events are seasoned cueists natio­nal champion Shahid Aftab and Mohammad Asif, Pakistan’s most decorated player with five international titles.

Representing Pakistan in the junior categories are Mohammad Hasnain Akh­tar — participating in both the U-17 and U-21 events — and Ahsan Ramzan, competing in the U-21 event.

The players underwent an intensive practice and training camp held in Lah­ore and Karachi from July 1st to 10th to prepare for the event.
