KARACHI: The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) on Friday announced team for the IBSF World Under 17, Under-21 men, masters and 6-Red men Snooker Championship, scheduled from July 13th to 24th in Manama, Bahrain.
Competing in the Masters and 6-Red Men events are seasoned cueists national champion Shahid Aftab and Mohammad Asif, Pakistan’s most decorated player with five international titles.
Representing Pakistan in the junior categories are Mohammad Hasnain Akhtar — participating in both the U-17 and U-21 events — and Ahsan Ramzan, competing in the U-21 event.
The players underwent an intensive practice and training camp held in Lahore and Karachi from July 1st to 10th to prepare for the event.
