LARKANA, May 14: The controller of examinations of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Larkana, Prof Rabnawaz Tunio, said on Sunday that examinations for the year-2006 of the higher secondary certificate part-I and II of all groups would begin on May 16.

Larkana, Qambar-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kashmore districts and Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah talukas of Dadu district fall in the board’s jurisdiction.

About 66 examination centres have been set up in the five districts and two talukas.

Some 17 centres have been set up in Larkana district, 11 in Qambar-Shahdadkot district, 13 in Shikarpur district, seven in Jacobabad district and eight centres in Kashmore district.

The examinations will continue till May 29.

The controller said that vigilance teams had been formed for all five districts and two talukas to check cheating in examinations.
