“In a particularly devastating attack, an air strike targeted a room at al-Rimal clinic located in the heart of Gaza City. The room was housing a displaced family and was struck without any prior warning,” Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reports from Deir el-Balah, Gaza.
“We understand that six Palestinians were killed while 15 others sustained varying degrees of injuries and are now receiving treatment at al-Ahli Hospital — an area that is very close to the marked red zone designated by the Israeli army,” Azzoum said.
“There has also been a surge in Israeli army activity elsewhere, especially in the central region where we are. A residential building in al-Nuseirat was attacked and in the al-Bureij refugee camp, two houses were targeted and levelled to the ground.
“We understand that in al-Bureij, three Palestinians were killed and children were reportedly wounded,” Azzoum added.
