GWADAR: A Panjgur University student was found shot dead near a hotel on Tuesday, a day after he was abducted.

Police said the deceased, identified as Zeeshan Zaheer Baloch, was a resident of the Khudabadan area of Panjgur. “Zeeshan disappeared the other day from a football ground and today people informed the police his body was dumped near a hotel on the outskirts of Panjgur town,” a senior police officer said.

The body was shifted to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination. “Multiple bullet wounds were found on his body,” police said, quoting hospital officials.

The body was later handed over to the family after completing medico-legal formalities. Police said the father of deceased had been missing for past 12 years.
