The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) says the collapse of healthcare services in Gaza is endangering the lives of the entire 2.3million population, with elderly people especially vulnerable, according to Al Jazeera.
“Falling ill means facing it alone without ambulances, shortage of medical supply or support,” it said in a post on X.
UNRWA repeated its call for a permanent ceasefire “to protect them”.
