PIA fare hike on foreign routes

ISLAMABAD, May 12: Pakistan International Airline on Friday increased fares on some of its international routes by over 20 per cent.

PIA’s spokesman Capt Hassan Jafferi was unavailable for comments.

Travel agents said fares to UK destinations have been increased by Rs10,000 to Rs 12,000. The new fare for Manchester, Birmingham and London is Rs56,730. For New York, Chicago and Houston the new fare would be Rs86,370. For Toronto the fare has been fixed at Rs85,070.—Staff Reporter
