French President Emmanuel Macron has said he has spoken to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and reaffirmed to him the importance of both Israel and Iran respecting their recent ceasefire deal, Reuters reports.

Macron added he had also reaffirmed to Netanyahu the need for a ceasefire deal in Gaza.
