Iranian president expresses regret to Qatar emir after US base attack, Qatari PM says

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed regret in a phone call with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani that Tehran’s target in retaliation for US strikes was a military base in Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, said in a press conference, Reuters reports.
