Meanwhile, media personality Fakhr-i-Alam has taken to X and written that he has landed in Dubai after his flight was diverted to Saudi Arabia.

“Landed safely in Dubai after [a] tense few hours,” he writes. “Hats off to the entire Emirates team and the UAE authorities for keeping everyone safe. Hope and pray for sense to prevail. The world needs peace.
