The complainant stated in her FIR, registered under Section 509 of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 155-C of the Police Order by the Nankana Sahib City police, that as she came out of the bank to go home, the suspect in police uniform began following her and pressured her to give him her mobile phone number.

As she boarded a van, he shouted at her through the window. In response, she also shouted back. When bystanders took notice, the suspect fled the scene.
